Homely Food with Motherly Service
Often I ve heard about this place..... and this place is outspoken in many of my circles,
finally i got a chance to visit this wonderful place.....
Situated on the main Coimbatore highway, exactly 1 km from Perumanallur to Avinasi, decent place with ample car parking, nice ventilated restaurant, tables are liberally placed........
this restaurant is running by group of ladies (3) from the same family, all the cooking is done at home and they themselves taking care of the service...... its always proved that when ladies are running the place you don't need any justification on the hygiene nor food adulteries ......here they proved it , obvious it attracts many of the regular guests from the surroundings,
Why this place is unique....a concept, amazing concept of spreading all the meat spare parts in one leaf!!!!! often you go to typical non veg restaurants and try to taste all the varieties of your choice, but there are two concern that money and appetite wont permit you to taste all, exactly they caught the concept!!! and they serve major varieties in limited quantity and enable to taste all!!! may be this idea would ve been came from KADA VIRUNDHU!!!! (typical non veg feast hosts by kongu communities for special occasions),
As soon as you enter there is a board displayed with the items served for the day, when you seated leaf is placed and non veg parade continues in cups....from mutton biryani, mutton varuval, naatu kozhi fry, liver fry, etc etc....minimum 5 side dishes and from the main course all the Non veg currys are still continues.......
limited variety with less spicy apart from the non veg varieties, rasam, sambar, poriyal taste too good, ( I had only that!!!! i told my friend i am too hungry don't take me to place where i can eat only rice, rasam....in spite he has done the damage in my lunch!!! and its second time......first one is at nayar mess chennai!!!! ) but thanks for taking me to such a wonderful place to learn and experience the nice hospitality!!!! again this place opened up many inside me!!!
no artificial flavor, color,MSG......totally complete home food which wont harm your stomach though you have eat as much as you can......taste wise its ok...ok...not much fascinating, but they way its prepared and the way its served, more over all these varieties served just for Rs. 280/- net, which includes a bottle of water and juice!!!!!!! they prepare only less quantity may be for about 50 people, and they open only from 12 to 04 pm, since they decided and prepared the quantity to sell, they finish so soon and close the shop!!! no second time prepareation, no storage and recycling for next day !!!! excellent way of running a restaurant,
I don't say its too tasty ......but guddoos to the concept and the effort and presenting it at affordable price to reach all the sector guests!!!! more over when you are taking long journey you cant take any such lunch else where..............but here i am promising 200% that you don't regret for eating here!!! but praise lot!!!!!
